What are the SDGs?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global blueprint for a better and more sustainable future. Adopted by the United Nations in 2015, these 17 goals address critical global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, and environmental degradation. The SDGs aim to create a world where everyone has access to quality education, clean water, decent work, and a healthy planet by 2030. By working together—governments, organizations, and individuals—we can turn these goals into reality. Explore how you can contribute to building a more sustainable world!

How can youth help achieve the SDGs?

Youth play a vital role in achieving the SDGs by driving innovation, raising awareness, and taking action in their communities. They can contribute by advocating for sustainability, volunteering for social and environmental causes, developing creative solutions through technology and entrepreneurship, and promoting education and equality. Through small everyday actions—such as reducing waste, supporting ethical businesses, and using their voices to push for policy changes—young people can make a powerful impact in building a more sustainable and just world.
